CRADLEY have booked Connor Coles to guest in their key Bank Holiday Monday home fixture against Belle Vue.

The Isle of Wight racer stands in for Danny Ayres whilst rider replacement will operate for Richard Hall who aggravated a shoulder injury on Saturday.

Motor Market Heathens Chairman Nigel Pearson said: “Bank Holidays are a very busy time in speedway so we studied our options carefully and we thank Connor for answering our late call.

“Naturally it’s a big disappointment and a huge blow to be without both Richard and Danny for what is such an important meeting, but we fully understand the absence of both riders.

“It’s not for us as a club to go into details of Danny’s absence; he is missing on compassionate grounds and our thoughts to go to Danny and the Ayres family at this difficult time.

“The rest of the lads know the task ahead of them on Monday, and they’ll be giving it everything they’ve got in what should be an entertaining meeting against the current league leaders.”

A reminder that Cradley v Belle Vue is the second part of a double header at Monmore Green on Monday with the Heathens expected to take to the track at approximately 7.45pm.

Normal Wolverhampton admission prices apply for the double header and any Heathens season ticket holders who wish to watch both meetings can pay £5 for both. Then normal Heathens ticket prices and season tickets apply from 7.15.
